Lula Wellness by La Zebra

I had an amazing stay at Lula. The service was excellent and the room was truly beautiful. The amenities were outstanding: a beach bag, evening tea, personalized Lula insect repellent, an in room yoga mat, plus access to yoga and boxing classes. Every detail felt carefully considered and high quality. A great bonus is that you can eat incredibly well at Zebra next door, which made the whole experience even better. The only thing that didn’t match the overall level of the hotel was the hairdryer. It was quite small and not powerful, and it would be great to have one that reflects the otherwise exceptional standard of the property. Still, this is an exceptional place and I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed attending the yoga sessions at Lula throughout the week, and I often stayed after for a coffee at their restaurant. The space is beautifully maintained, clean, and has a luxurious vibe. The beach views are stunning! Highly recommend!

This was the ultimate yoga experience. The power flow class was exceptional. We went twice while we were there. The second time was even better than the first. Not to mention the amazing view of the ocean, sound of crashing waves, and warm wind blowing through the studio. Kudos, Lula team!!!

This was my second trip to Tulum, and after my first stay at a nearby hotel with no fitness options, I discovered Lula Wellness was just a short jog down the beach. I signed up for a class one morning and found a true haven. The workout studio is breathtaking — such a magical space. I left that first class energized and refreshed, and ended up signing up for a class every single morning of my trip. Each instructor was unique and curated a well-balanced, challenging workout that made me want to come back again and again. This most recent trip to Tulum was sparked by an email about a Lula retreat, and I didn’t hesitate to book it. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The property is gorgeous, the food is fresh and exciting, and the cocktails are outstanding. Truly, you’d be mistaken to stay anywhere else in Tulum.

Lula by Le Zebra - A Magical Blend of Luxury and Soul! Staying at Lula by Le Zebra felt like stepping into a modern magic treehouse. The entire property has a luxurious yet earthy “Tulum vibe,” with architecture built around the trees and thoughtful details everywhere including foot rinses at every entrance, a beach shower, and a restaurant that flows seamlessly between indoors and the oceanfront. There’s even a rooftop above the spa and yoga shala that’s perfect for watching the sunrise. My room was spacious, always spotless, and stocked with fresh water. The ocean-side balcony had a hammock chair I loved, and the bed was incredibly comfortable with full, luxurious pillows. Housekeeping (Rosa and Teresa especially) went above and beyond, and each evening turndown service came with tea and cookies...the sweetest way to end the day. I slept soundly every night. The staff at Lula truly made the experience unforgettable. From the servers (Christian, Adolfo, Manuel, Leo, Damian) to guest services (Juan Carlos) to our beautiful Wellness Coordinator (Chara), everyone was attentive, kind, and proactive. I even left behind a bathing suit cover-up accidentally, and they found it for me before I realized it was missing. Service like that is rare. The food deserves its own highlight! Chef Raziel and his team (Gabriel, Juan Pablo, Daniel) prepared some of the most thoughtful and flavorful meals I’ve ever had. Each dish let the ingredients shine, whether Mediterranean, local Mexican, or Asian-inspired. Because I was there on retreat, our meals were curated and came with multiple courses; appetizers, mains, and dessert. Every plate was fresh, abundant, and absolutely delicious. Truly 5-star dining. The team also went out of their way to keep us comfortable during meals outdoors, bringing fans and burning copal to help with mosquitoes. I was also here as part of a wellness retreat curated by Chara, with Ricardo offering his gentle strength in movement classes as well. Together, they created a container that felt both intentional and spacious, weaving in the magic of Tulum while allowing us the freedom to rest or explore at our own pace. Lula is magical, unforgettable, and absolutely a place I will return to.

I had the most wonderful experience at Lula. I did not stay, but I did book their morning yoga session, which is done in a beautiful glass studio directly in front of the beach. They open up the glass doors so you can hear the ocean waves and feel the cool breeze. I then had an amazing one-hour Swedish massage at their clean and relaxing spa. The masseuse was very professional and great at her job. I then headed to their restaurant for lunch that overlooks the beach. The food was delicious and fresh. Overall, I had an amazing experience. I would definitely stay here during my next visit.

We absolutely loved our 9am yoga session at Lula Wellness! The ocean view is incredible and hearing the waves crash while doing the class is truly special. The instructor was very friendly and attentive to the fact that I was pregnant. She offered different move alternatives to make sure that I would feel comfortable. Highly recommend!

We spent the day at Lula’s today! The manager, Will, was extremely helpful and our waiter, Miguel was terrific. We had hummus,falafel , pita and a pork baguette. We all loved our food and lemonades!! The beach and lounging area was delightful. Thanks for such a great day!
